Thirty Day trial - Kleem

I am running a thirty day trial to see how well Vedic mantras work for me. I am testing the Kleem Mantra . The Kleem mantra is supposed to bring new clients and other networking opportunity to ones business.

The practice is to say or write the word Kleem 108 times each day while visualizing the perfect client.

I have been writing Kleem a few more than 108 times as I usually fill a page of paper. I visualize my perfect client as affluent and appreciative of my services. My perfect client pays me abundantly for my services. My perfect client applies my services and is abundantly blessed.

I am enjoying the feeling of visualizing my perfect client. It feels good to see someone who appreciates my services and is blessed by my work. I also enjoy the feeling of financial abundance that getting paid for my work brings.

Feeling Stuck

My Personal Development

I have not felt like I was making much progress toward my goals lately. I have tried various methodologies for the last month. Last month I did a thirty day trial on the use of Abraham techniques. I really did not do the trial just like I wanted to but I did see some positive results. Enough to keep going with that philosophy and incorporate it into my lifestyle. I have started a new thirty day trial that I will write about later.

One of the things that has popped up for me last night was that in order to get unstuck, I need to work on forgiveness. I am sure that my lack of forgiveness is holding me back.

Abraham Hicks

I am attending a class at church this month of the teachings of Abraham. Abraham is a channeled teaching through the medium of Ester Hicks. I am still a bit hesitant about he channeled spirit part, but I really like the message so far.

Abraham points out that our thoughts and feeling control the reality that we see. They say that the most important asp[ct of creating what we desire in life is our vibrational alignment.

Finding what we want int life is a s simple as focusing our attending on our feelings. If we feel good, we are on the right path. If we feel bad, then we are going in the wrong direction.

having grown up in the Baptist church, this if it feels good do it philosophy seems wrong on the surface. However the more I engage the principles in my life the better the results seem to be.

I have read many of the Abraham books before but I have never really tried to implement their teaching in an effective way. So for this month, I am going to retell my story and focus my thoughts on what feels good to me. I am not going to be concerned with how others feel, I am only going to focus on my own feelings.

At the end of the month, I will access how my life has been effected by the philosophy. I am now focusing on telling a different story.

Each morning I take time to write out several things that I enjoy about my life as it is right now. I look for positive qualities in my wife, my friends and my work. I am looking for th good in all situations.

Dangers of Cell Phones?

Over the years I have heard a lot of scare stories about the dangers of cell phones. Many of these stories have to do with using a cell phone while driving. personally I don't see talking on a cell phone as being any more distracting than changing a CD, talking to passengers in the back seat or talking on a two way radio. But that's just my opinion.

One of the hazards that I do see as real however is the exposure to the electromagnetic field generated by the radio transmitter in the phone. While this field is much less than a typical walkie talkie or other two way radio, we do spend more time on our wireless devices than ever before.

The constant exposure to these fields in close proximity to the body like holding a cordless phone to your head or sitting your wireless Internet connection in your lap or storing your blackberry in your pocket can possibly disrupt the bodies energy field. Some researchers suggest that the dangers of electromagnetic radiation are more dangerous than smoking. Read more about these hazards in this article.....

Travel to Ireland

We recently traveled to Ireland to watch our son Will perform in the St Patrick's day parade in Dublin.

The country of Ireland is beautiful and green. We found most of the people there to be very friendly and helpful. They all had a playful sense of humor.

We enjoyed touring the ruined castles and the cliffs of Moher.

Unity

This past Sunday I was initiated into membership at Unity of Chattanooga.

Unlike others churches I have joined in the past, I actually felt a tingle come over me as I received the blessing from Pastor Doug and the congregation.

I see Unity as more of a learning center than a church. I guess because I have always felt a sense of negativity connected with the church in the past. Now as part of the Unity movement, I feel I have the tools and knowledge to fully embrace the Christ Spirit in me.

Jeep Preventive maintenance

Last night while doing some Christmas shopping, I heard a huge noise from under the hood of my Jeep. It would go away if I revved the engine and return at idle.

Since I was in the middle of holiday traffic I drove on a few miles before I checked it.

When I opened the hood I found the idler pulley had spit out its bearings.

The thing I found most interesting was that there was no warning. There was no squeak or roar before the bearing separated. I have heard others squeak for years without failure.

So I am now recommending that this part be changed as a matter of preventative maintenance. Luckily I was able to drive mine to the perts store and them back to the shop. I would hate to have been stranded in holiday traffic if the belt had slipped off.

Team Building Off Road

This months team building lesson was brought to me by the XJ list Spring Fling Meeting.
The XJ list converged on Harlan, Ky once again.
Since we saw so little of the park last time we went back for a repeat visit. We got in lots of play time this trip.
Friday's adventure ended in a slip and slide as we got caught in a rain storm on our way back to camp. The long muddy hill we started the day with was a big water slide for most of the group.
Saturday we ran a super fun trail called Mason Jar. This trail starts with what looks like an impossible obstacle. Our first Jeep made it over just to prove it could be done. Then the rest of us took the by pass. However this was no easy bypass. It was an extremely off camber run on the side of a cliff. Each jeep had to be strapped up for safety as we crawled through.
A few busted taillights and some new pin striping seemed to cover most of the damage in the group.

Animal Reiki

Just a couple of weeks ago - seems like months - my dog Smash got his second serious life threatening injury. He lookslike he was it by a car. This is not something we ever thought would happen to him as we live way back in the woods. But however it happened, he came home broken and bleeding.

At this point, his biggest challenge is dealing with a crushed femur bone.

I got some big help from an Animal Reiki therapist to speed his recovery.

EFT works for me

Yesterday I listened to a Taped conversation between Joe Vitale and Brad Yates. They were discussing how to use EFT to clear marketing and sales copy writing blocks. I have studied EFT before and have used it from time to time on things like sinus problems and headaches but I have never really tried to use it on performance issues.

Who else gets bombarded with these calls at all times of the day. The caller ID says TollFree Number 888-858-9823. They only let it ring about three times but it is really annoying. I never answer the phone unless I check the caller ID first.

I have googled the number and it seems to be from Bank One or Chase Bank. Possibly trying to sell a credit protection plan.

I have never answered the call, bu the ringing really bothers me at time. I am going to have to do some EFT to relieve the tension.

Jeeps and off road performance

I love driving my various Jeep Cherokees on and off road.

I try to have one for every occasion. My daily driver is set up with a NP 242 Transfer case so I can have four wheel drive any time I need it. It is ready to go off road at a moments notice.

For on pavement adventures, we usually take Jeep Girl's XJ. Hers also has the 242 but is fitted with low rolling resistance street tires and still has all the nice stuff to make a road trip more pleasant. But we have no trouble engaging four wheel drive on the NP 242 and getting it muddy.

For more serious off road use I have built Scuffy - my lifted Jeep Cherokee with big off road tires.

For high speed off road rally racing I have the RallyJeep.

One of my favorite areas of study is attraction. Not only the law of attraction or marketing attraction but sexual attraction between husbands and wives.

I enjoy working with couples to teach then to enjoy their marriage more. I think there would be more peace, harmony and prosperity in the world if people could learn to get along better with their spouses. It is almost a conspiracy that there is so much bad relationship advice being presented in the media today.
